Rajma chawal is a dish that is popular throughout North India and easy to make too. Rajma (red kidney beans) is cooked in a gravy made with onions, tomatoes and assorted spices.

The spicy, tangy and yummy rajma gravy is nutritious and healthy and tastes best with steamed rice.

Thayir Sadam or Curd Rice is a popular south Indian dish. It's easy to make and is mildly spiced through a basic tempering.
