While the leading ladies swept the Cannes 2021 red carpet in bright tones, haute couture gowns and clean faces; their male counterparts added the right touch of glitz and glamour at the French Riviera. Here are 10 male stars have made it to our list of best dressed celebrities this year.
1. Timothee Chalamet
Actor Timothee Chalamet wore a Tom Ford outfit at the Cannes 2021 Red Carpet. The French Dispatch actor's choice of a silver and gold metallic suit, paired with Cartier rings, white shoes and a pair of shades came as a big surprise for everyone at the event.
2. Spike Lee
Cannes 2021 Jury President Spike Lee was another celeb that made heads turn (of course, after already having made history as the first black president of the jury) at the red carpet in a hot pink Louis Vuitton suit by Virgil Abloh. He paired it with Air Jordan 1 PEs designed by Tinker Hatfield, and a pair of pink shades.
3. Josh O’ Connor
Actor Josh O’ Connor wore a peach-coloured Loewe suit at the Cannes 2021 red carpet. Underneath the coat was a white shirt and on it were white buttons, that perfectly complimented the overall look. He paired his outfit with black circular shades and black shoes.
4. Nicolas Maury
Actor Nicolas Maury looked stunning in a white Lanvin suit complemented by a pink shirt and pink buttons. He paired it with Boucheron jewelley, that was in sync with the birds designed on his blazer.
5. Matt Damon
Stillwater star Matt Damon looked smoking hot as usual, as he walked the Cannes red carpet with his co-star Camille Cottin, in a Celine tux by Hedi Slimane. Both the stars were seen twinning in black.
6. Adrien Brody
Another actor to rock an all-black outfit at the Festival de Cannes this year was Adrien Brody of The French Dispatch. Wearing a Dior tux and a watch, he sure set the bar high at the 74th edition.
7. Simon Helberg
Our very own engineer from Big Bang Theory, Howard Wolowitz aka Simon Helberg, joined his Annette co-stars at the red carpet this year. The actor brought back many memories as he walked in a blue tux, with a black bowtie, and slip-ons, and a side-parted hairdo.
8. Sean Penn
Actor, director, screenwriter and producer, Sean Penn walked the Cannes red carpet with his children, Hopper and Dylan Penn, to attend the screening of Flag Day. While the father-son duo wore a black suit, Dylan, also in black, walked in an asymmetrical dress and heels.
9. Wes Anderson
Wes Anderson attended the Cannes International Film festival 2021 for the debut of his film, The French Dispatch. The filmmaker wore a blue striped suit with a brown tie, and white loafers.
10. Tom McCarthy
Actor, director and screenwriter, Tom McCarthy, walked the Cannes 2021 red carpet for his film, Stillwater. Oscar winner for Spotlight, McCarthy was another celeb to hit the stage in a Dior black tuxedo.
