The beats and lyrics of the track continue to resonate with the youth till today. The song is from the movie Dil Chahta Hai (2001), which narrates the tale of three inseparable college friends. It stars Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia, and marked the directorial debut of Farhan Akhtar.

Its soul-stirring lyrics were penned by Javed Akhtar and magically fill you with positivity and zest. The song is sung by Hariharan, Udit Narayan and Kailash Kher and is picturised on Shah Rukh Khan. The movie also stars Gayatri Joshi, Kishori Ballal and Rajesh Vivek, among others.
